For and episode 0? We rocked the house. Now just to get these forums to cooperate and do quotes and HTML.
Thanks Babe!
No sweat, it's short (23 min) so it will be easy to fit in, especially driving to PAX. Have a great time at the expo.Posted By: ShaunI'm an asshat and haven't gotten to listen to the show yet. Fortunately, it's on the iPod, so I'll be listening to it in the car on the way to Seattle.
Posted By: HighmoonHello. I just came across your show from John Wick's LJ and have begun to download. Welcome to the podcasting trenches. I'll be sending you info to join the RPG Podcasters Yahoo! Group as well.

Sweet. Good, bad or ugly, let me know what you think.
Thanks Justin. I always know you've got my back.... way back!
In this episode you mentioned that you used a solitaire game and an egg timer to create stress for the player to pick a lock.
What was the solitaire game you gave to the player to abstract the lock picking?

Justin,
Thanks for the reply. I found a tanagram set with 60 puzzles with it at the house and bought a timer that 'ticks'
depending on the lock / task I can just add time and # of puzzles that need to be solved. Thanks I will look at Phoenix.
Chris
Tanagrams! That's a good idea too. Bonus points if you can make a tanagram that looks like the bomb you are diffusing or the lock you are picking. You might also want to check out a board game called Ubongo that uses tetris like tanagram puzzles that all players are trying to finish before the sand timer runs out.
I just found out about your podcast. Here's where I heard of it from:

So far I have listened to the first 4 episodes, good stuff. I may be the only person who has never listened to an RPG podcast before who is listening to yours - but you mention that several times in the episdoes I have listened to, and thought you'd like to know that there are *some* folks out there for whom Narrative Control is there first RPG podcast.
