GenCon.

I know you both are going, is there any way someone could get together with you two and game? I am planning on going with my wife and I would love to play in a game you guys are running. Or I could run one of my games for you all, especially Monsters if you all haven't played it since then.

I would love to meet up at GenCon. While we are excited to go...we actually haven't done any of the real planning yet. I think we are both busy gearing up for one of the local cons (and of couse Sean's on the War Crack again...oh he says he's been sick...but we know). I'm still debating whether or not to run a game at GenCon, or just leave time to soak in all in.

Has anybody been before? What should we expect?

I haven't been to it since it moved to Indy, but have been twice. The dealer room is so large, plan for two days, to really see it. As for the rest, go to the Ennies and if you can get into it, the Real Dungeon. But, I haven't seen any plans for that this year. Get your hotel room early, they book fast and stay downtown, since driving to your hotel sucks.

Other than that, when it gets close, I can give you my cell number and I would love to hook up for a game or two with you and Sean. That would rock..

I would even run one of the con games I am planning.

As of the moment I have no concrete plans for Gen Con other than I don't think I'm going to be running. From everything I've heard about Gen Con it's like visiting another country; the first time you're there it overwhelming. My guess is that I'll come back saying "I wish I did..." no what I do.

So, as for getting together and gaming, sounds great. I'd love to have some people I know at gen con to game with! Email the show narrativecontrol@gmail.com with your contact info and both Justin and I will get it.

    Email sent.

Gen Con is "different", to say the least. It is so massive you really get turned around the axle trying to figure it out. And the last time I went, my hotel room flooded on the 14th floor. Don't ask. Anyways, when you are there, remember to breathe and shower. Both very important things to remember. I think Gen Con is really where the whole idea of not showering gamers came about, because some of the people I met, holy cow.

I do remember an incident in a game room I was watching where someone Febreezed someone else, it cause a fight; which was interesting.

This is a big deal to me. I don't want to stink. I don't want the people I'm in the same room with to stink. Okay Gen Con, here's your warning. No stinky people.

Maybe I could just by like 20 sticks of deodorant and hand them out to whoever needs them.
